If you use hand rollers, several rolling operations are required to achieve optimum compaction of the substrate. The rolling with a motorized roller requires by the much higher weight in most cases only one rolling pass. This results in not inconsiderable time savings, which they invest in other activities. For maintenance and care of a system with two places, the hand roller is certainly sufficient. For larger tennis facilities with more than two courses, it is advisable to resort to motorized rollers solely for time reasons.
